Participation In MVSC

Arrow Leaf Balsam Root - Image provided by Carol ForwardWe are asking all our Mohawk Valley neighbors to help in this undertaking. Specifically, the MVSC seeks letters of support from Homeowner’s Associations which will be included in our grant application packages.

Additionally, the MVSC seeks volunteers to assist with non-profit activities such as outreach, grant writing, and organizing fund raising events. The MVSC will be preparing grant applications as they become available and seeks commitments from skilled professionals who would volunteer time and equipment in the future when restoration of the property and buildings becomes a reality. Potential grant funders look favorably upon applications that show “in-kind” contributions of volunteer labor and/or equipment.

Please consider assisting the MVSC in this endeavor to put the White Sulphur Springs Ranch back on the map in permanent recognition of its historic significance to the Mohawk Valley.

The Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council's open board meetings are held the 4th Friday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Whitehawk Community Center located on Whitehawk Drive, Clio, CA 96106.   Sometimes a change is necessary in the meeting schedule. It is a good idea to confirm each month's meeting from the MVSC Facebook page.
